Koh Mak is a quiet island but there is still plenty to do and see. Here is a list of activities and tours that can be taken during your stay at Good Time Resort.
Motorbikes & Bicycles for rent
You can rent scooters for about 350 Baht per day, or a “dirt-bike” for 850 Baht per day. If you like to exercise, there are also a few bicycles you can rent for 150 Baht per day.
Diving & Snorkeling
Koh Mak is situated in the national marine park in Thailand. This area has the riches marine life in Thailand and is perfect for diving and snorkeling. There are 3 diving schools Koh Mak Divers (English), Paradise Divers (German and English) and Ploy Diving (Thai). In certain areas you can snorkel right on the beach.
Thai Cooking Class
Please let us know in advance and we are happy to introduce you to one of the best things in Thailand: The Food. One days course (including food of course) starts from 1.200 Baht. This is a cooperation with Smile Koh Mak.
Kayak
Kayak offers a fun exercise and an opportunity to explore Koh Rayang or Koh Kham on your own as these island are only 1 km away. The renting price for a Kayak starts at 200 Bath per hour.
Island Tour
On this tour you explore Koh Mak and all it’s interesting places. Sights worth mentioning are the rubber plantations, Ao Nid Pier, the local museum, the temple and the view points.
Island Hopping
You can also plan day-trips to Koh Wai, Koh Kood, Koh Kradat, Koh Kham, Koh Chang or Koh Rayang in the high-season.
Sailing
There is a sailing school on Koh Chang that offers sailing trips and lessons. If organized in advance they might pick you up on Koh Mak.
